Dr. Erica Ngo was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry and minor in Japanese from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Ngo received her Doctor of Optometry from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. During her time there, she was the recipient of awards recognizing her clinical excellence and commitment to community service.
Dr. Ngo’s clinical interests include dry eyes, ocular disease, contact lenses (including scleral lenses for high myopia, dry eyes, and keratoconus as well as multifocal lenses and lenses for astigmatism), and aesthetics as it relates to the eyes. She specializes in treating Dry Eye Disease as well as Digital Eye Strain in people of all ages. She performs LipiFlow and Intense Pulsed Light treatments as well as demodex cleanings.
Dr. Ngo completed her externships at several different modes of practice in order to gain a deeper understanding of ocular disease, refractive surgeries, and treatments. She participated in comprehensive eye examinations, medical eye examinations, cataract evaluations, glaucoma evaluations, Lasik pre- and post-operative visits, corneal cross-linking pre- and post-operative visits for keratoconus, as well as Implantable Collamer® Lens pre- and post-operative visits.
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Ngo spends her time working on Vision Optique’s social media pages as well as web design, educational content, and blogs for Vision Optique’s website.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, Latin dancing, traveling, gardening, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and puppy.
