Eye exam and consultation time slots are precious and very much in demand. In an effort to serve you better, we ask for proper notice for any cancellation or late arrivals.
We make every effort to be on time for all our appointments. Unfortunately, when even one patient arrives late, it can throw off the entire schedule for that session. In addition, rushing or “squeezing in” an appointment shortchanges the patient and contributes to decreased quality of care (and increases medical errors). In light of this, patients arriving more than 10 minutes after their appointment time without notifying us beforehand will be asked to reschedule.
Cancellation Policy for Saturday Appointments
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. As a courtesy, we request that if you must cancel your appointment, please do so 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Saturday appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will allow another patient access to timely medical care. Failure to cancel within 24 hours will result in a $35.00 fee charged to your account.
For your convenience, a member of our staff will contact you by telephone shortly after a missed appointment to assist you with rescheduling. The $35.00 fee will be assessed to your account, and we request payment be made prior to scheduling a future appointment.
