Sunglasses protect you from cataracts and wrinkles!
Try to avoid sun exposure during peak UV hours between 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Wearing sunglasses will not only protect the tissue around your eyes but will also slow down the process of cataracts. Bright light from the sun may cause your eyes to squint, which with time will overstretch the periorbital skin and cause an increase in wrinkles. Wearing hats and high wrap sunglasses like those from Maui Jim will help decrease UV exposure to open skin.
