Bevel's core values are quality, innovation of materials, wearability, and color.
They do this by enhancing the natural beauty of the eyeglass wearer with a frame that provides lasting balance and comfort.
Bevel uses a minimalistic approach to design while blending fresh natural combinations of colors.

Bevel and their start:
- Created in 1999 by two friends and former colleagues, Richard Mewha & Rick Nelson, Bevel was an outlet for their optical and fashion skills.
- Working with the most innovative and dedicated Japanese technicians, the Bevel team constantly searches out new materials; coloring treatments and inovative shapes to produce a wholly different take on eyewear.
- Within their first nine years, Bevel was the first to introduce "Milled Titanium" - cut from sheets of titanium - and bi-colored titanium frames. They have also developed beta titanium styles with a chunky look and a super light feel.
- Spring 2009 saw the launching of their first Men's sunglass collection in ultramatte Japanese acetates with a quality polarized lense.
- Bevel is now sold in thirteen countries around the world but still manages to maintain an exclusive distribution of the brand.
