• Emillio Pucci started his brand in Florence during the 1940's; currently An Italian based company; Pucci is known world wide for it's fabulous mod-inspired prints.
• Emilio wanted to capture the relax and ease of life he experience in the Mediterranean
• In 1949 Emilio Pucci opened a store in Capri wanting to capture the island's sensibilities; also at that time he created the "Capri Pant" which took the world by storm.
• By 1989 Pucci designs had become a thing of trend and status in the community; Picasso, Madonna and many others often wore his clothes.
• Mr. Pucci has received many awards some of which are: 1954 & 1967 Neiman Marcus Fashion Award; 1991 Council of Fashion Designers of America Award
